Bradley Jay Little (born February 15, 1954, in Emmett, Idaho) is an American politician and businessman who has served as the 33rd Governor of Idaho since January 2019. A Republican, Little began his political career in the Idaho State Senate, representing District 9 (2001–2005) and District 11 (2005–2009), then served as the 42nd Lieutenant Governor of Idaho from 2009 to 2019 under Governor Butch Otter. Prior to politics, he was deeply involved in his family's ranching operations near Emmett and held executive banking positions, including as president of the First National Bank of Emmett. His background in agriculture, ranching, business, and finance has shaped his policy priorities, emphasizing economic growth and development, tax reforms, deregulation, regulatory reform, and limited government intervention to foster business growth in Idaho. As Governor, Little has focused on expanding Idaho's economy through initiatives like broadband access in rural areas, workforce development, and support for agriculture and technology sectors.
