Brad Lips is the CEO of the Atlas Network, a global network of free-market think tanks. He is a prominent figure in free-market philanthropy and public policy with over 25 years of experience. He holds a B.A. from the University of Richmond and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. Early in his career, Lips held senior development positions at key conservative think tanks, including the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the Heartland Institute, and the Acton Institute, where he focused on fundraising and organizational growth to advance market-oriented policies. From 2011 to early 2020, Lips served as Executive Vice President for Programs at DonorsTrust and its affiliate Donors Capital Fund, major donor-advised funds that have granted hundreds of millions of dollars to liberty-focused nonprofits worldwide. In this role, he oversaw grant strategies supporting think tanks and policy initiatives aligned with limited government and free enterprise principles. Lips has been recognized for his expertise in scaling impact through networks of like-minded organizations, with a career dedicated to countering progressive policy agendas through strategic philanthropy.
