About
Asher Fredman is an Israeli-American researcher, analyst, and people-to-people diplomacy expert focused on Israeli-Arab relations, particularly the Abraham Accords, US-Israel relations, Israel-Saudi normalization, and regional security. Born on September 3, 1984, in New York, United States, originally from Scarsdale, New York, he made aliyah to Israel in 2008. He holds a BA and MA from Harvard University (2003-2008) in Government and Middle Eastern Studies. His career includes serving as Executive Director of the Misgav Institute for National Security and Zionist Strategy (current, resides in Israel); Visiting Fellow at the Allison Center for National Security, The Heritage Foundation (current); Director for Israel at the Abraham Accords Peace Institute (previously, organization adopted by The Heritage Foundation); Fellow at the Kohelet Policy Forum; Chief of Staff to Gilad Erdan (Likud Minister, circa 2017); and strategy and communications consultant. He contributes to publications like Foreign Affairs, speaks on relevant topics, and was awarded the Bonei Zion Young Leadership Prize in 2022 as a ViZionary.
