Arthur W. Coviello Jr., known as Art Coviello, is a prominent American cybersecurity executive with over four decades of experience. He joined RSA Security in 1981 as a software engineer and rose through the ranks to become its President in 1999, leading the company during its acquisition by EMC Corporation in 2006 for $2.1 billion. As Executive Vice President of EMC and President of its RSA Security Division, Coviello oversaw innovations in identity management, encryption, and fraud prevention, establishing RSA as a cornerstone of enterprise security. He retired from EMC in 2015 after 34 years at RSA, during which he navigated major industry shifts including the rise of cloud computing and advanced persistent threats.
