About
Ariel Beery is an American-Israeli entrepreneur whose career has focused on leveraging technology for social good. As a Columbia University student, he served as president of the School of General Studies Student Council and as a columnist for the Columbia Spectator, where he wrote opinion pieces critical of Professor Joseph Massad prior to the Columbia Unbecoming film. Following his time as a student leader at Columbia, Beery immigrated to Israel (made aliyah) in 2006 and enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces, serving two years in the 35th Paratroopers Brigade. After his military service, he co-founded the PresenTense Institute in 2007 alongside Eilon Aslan-Levy, establishing a global network of incubators to support young social entrepreneurs with programs launched in Jerusalem, New York, and other cities; PresenTense aimed to foster innovation for social impact, training over 1,000 fellows by 2012. Beery later founded iCast in 2008, a mobile platform for content creators, which evolved into EveryWare Global, a professional network connecting changemakers in nonprofits, social enterprises, and impact investing. He served as CEO of EveryWare, promoting tools for collaboration among activists and organizations worldwide, and has participated in speaking engagements at TEDx while contributing to leadership in Israel's startup ecosystem.
