About
Anders Gravers Pedersen (born May 13, 1960) is a Danish anti-Islam activist and prominent figure in far-right and counter-jihad movements. He founded and chairs Stop Islamisation of Denmark (SIAD) in 2005, and co-founded Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) in 2007, serving as its leader. His activism extends internationally through organizations like Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) and Stop Islamization of Nations (SION), forming a transatlantic network of counter-jihad activists. Pedersen attempted to enter Danish politics as an independent candidate in the 2007 parliamentary election in Jutland, receiving only 73 votes. His organizations and rhetoric have drawn criticism for promoting Islamophobia and have been accused of hate speech and extremism by human rights groups and media outlets.
