About
The American Jewish Alliance (AJA), also referred to as Jewish Alliance, is a national Jewish advocacy organization established in 2002 to challenge what it perceives as the liberal dominance in mainstream Jewish institutional leadership, including organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the American Jewish Committee (AJC). It promotes conservative perspectives on issues including strong support for Israel, combating anti-Semitism, and opposition to radical Islam and progressive policies within the Jewish community. The group emerged during a period of internal Jewish community debates over political alignments post-9/11 and the Second Intifada. Charles Jacobs, a prominent activist known for his work with the David Project and other pro-Israel initiatives, serves as a board member. The AJA has focused on public campaigns, media outreach, and coalition-building to amplify dissenting voices against established Jewish leadership, positioning itself as an alternative voice for American Jews concerned with security and traditional values.
